The Abraham Memorial Trust located in Bangalore was founded by Dr. Abraham Ebenezer and members of his family to set up centres of excellence covering primary and higher education as well as launch social welfare activities in both urban and rural areas.

It runs the Chetana Montessori School. EISB is its second venture. The Trust also has a publishing wing, Chetana Books, which promotes promising young writers as well as publishes educational books.


The Ebenezer Foundation, a venture of Abraham Memorial Educational Trust, is established by its Founder Chairman – Dr. Abraham Ebenezer, with a corpus fund of Rs. 1.0 crore. The main objective of the Foundation would be three-fold, focusing on the upliftment of the poorest of the poor.

  1. To provide excellent educational facilities for the children of the economically weak, marginalized and downtrodden segments of the society. This will be achieved through free education to the needy and scholarships to the meritorious, even up to the highest level of education both academic and professional.
  1. To help the poorest of the poor in meeting high medical expenses, especially for the treatments of cancer, HIV/AIDS etc. in the best hospitals in the country.
  1. To involve spontaneously with the Government and the society at times of disasters, natural calamities and situations of emergency by mobilizing trained and dedicated volunteers, donating medicines and required materials, and extending maximum support financially.
