On the 6th of January 2016, 6 teachers and 77 students of Grades 9 to 12 (ICSE ) had visited the Indira Gandhi International School for Sri Lankan Refugee Children . This school was established 25 years ago to provide education and shelter to 250 children of Sri Lankan refugees. The students of EISB lovingly interacted with the students, played with them and answered all their curious questions. They took photos with the new friends they made that day and even encouraged the students of the tailoring class by purchasing the earrings and bags made by them. Our students distributed snacks and individual kits (one washing soap, bathing soap, packet of noodles and biscuits, chocolates, hair oil and shampoo) to the students and their teachers. We also donated the following items to the school Rice, Oil, Sugar, Dal, Tea Powder, Milk Powder and a bag full of soap. Our students demonstrated compassion and empathy in all their words and actions with the students. They have definitely brought back with them a lot of good memories and the inspiration to cultivate the quality of caring for others.
