“How many hopes and fears, how many ardent wishes and anxious apprehensions are twisted together, in the threads that connect the parent with the child?”
Samuel Goodrich has very beautifully captured the quintessence of parenting in these above lines. Many a times we talk about the way schools, teachers, curriculum and a peer group contour the personality of a child. However, what we often forget is the power of a parent.
At EISB, we collaborate with parents as partners in the learning process of students. Regular interactions and workshops with parents ensure that the gap between home and school is bridged. Education, thus, becomes not only a way of living but life itself.
We also constitute a ‘Parent Resource Team’ every year in order to figure out effective and appropriate ways to interact with the parents. We believe that this can enhance the level of trust and support that is imperative in building the needed Parent- School relationship which also helps in the all round development of the students.
