World Story Telling Day was celebrated at Ebenezer Beginnings on 18th March, with huge pomp and show. Different age groups indulged in a variety of stories. Eric Carl was definitely the most popular one. While Prep I students read “The Tiny Seed”, “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” visited Prep II. Prep I was set up at it's scenic best with mountains, sea, sand beaches, and tunnels to match the setting of the story.

Our Prep II students watched the finger puppets at play, while ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’ was being narrated. They also learnt a few facts about the Author- Eric Carl. In our Nursery room, it was ‘The Three Little Pigs’ that was being retold with an animated feel. A lot of drama unfolded as the story was being narrated, and students just sat listening to their favorite tale.

It was a great morning at EISB, with the old Art of Storytelling being revived, keeping the magic and hope alive. Indeed, these young minds will read many a tales, as they blossom into wonderful Ebenezerites!
