EISB is an Apple school that believes in using technology to create powerful learning experiences for students. The school leaders, staff, and the parent community have a clear vision of how this technology-rich environment will support the student learning goals. They use i-pad and Mac to inspire student creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking.
I-pads in School
In our Early Years and Primary programme, students have access to ipads which are issued to them as per their lesson plan requirements in preplanned slots under the supervision of teachers. Students learn to create a variety of content with age-appropriate tools and apps.
Starting from Grade 6, Cambridge students enter our 1:1 iPad program and continue until Grade 12 IBDP. A lot of course content for these grades is delivered via the devices, including textbooks, subject-specific content, videos, and other resources. Students complete certain assignments on their iPads, research and create projects including movies, interactive books and webpages as part of their course work.
High-performance graphics and processors, breathtaking retina display all come together to run pro-level apps for varied learning areas. Mac has been empowering the world’s leading engineers, artists, scientists, designers and musicians for a long time. And it’s been doing the same for students at EISB too.
Apple TVs in Classrooms
All Classrooms are equipped with Apple TVs that stream educational content on the screen from the teacher’s or student’s I-pad for teaching learning and showcasing presentations.
