Overview
Project-Based Learning (PBL) at EISB is a student-centred methodology where learners actively explore real-world challenges to deepen their understanding. Through collaborative and interdisciplinary projects, students cultivate critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills, culminating in tangible outcomes that connect knowledge to real-world contexts.

Redesigning History
Objective: To reimagine historical events through critical analysis and creative outputs, enhancing students' understanding of historical narratives.
Facilitated by Ms. Mehak and Ms. Vidya, this project empowers students to approach history with a fresh perspective. They have completed milestones, including diary entries, a position paper, and treaty discussions (MUN simulation). The next steps involve designing a treaty and delivering the final product, sharpening their analytical, creative, and collaborative skills.

E-Waste Awareness Through Storytelling Puppet Show
Objective: To create awareness about e-waste management using creative storytelling methods.
Led by Mr. Antony and Ms. Vishnu Putri, students are innovatively addressing e-waste issues through a puppet show. They have completed orientation sessions, resource identification, and procurement, fostering ownership and teamwork. The project’s goal is to combine creativity and environmental consciousness, promoting sustainable practices while delivering impactful awareness to their audience.

Arboreal Enlightenment
Objective: To develop observational, research, and classification skills by identifying and understanding various tree species.
Under the mentorship of Ms. Jenny and Ms. Rachna, Grade 9 students explored tree identification through brainstorming sessions and an expert lecture by Vishnu Sir. They collected samples from 10 species on campus, documenting and classifying them. The project combines practical learning with environmental stewardship, encouraging students to appreciate biodiversity.

Balanced Diet
Objective: To understand the principles of a balanced diet, its components, and its impact on health.
Under the guidance of Ms. Vidya and Ms. Madhuri, students explored the essentials of a balanced diet through foundational research and group discussions. Guest speaker Dr. Amrita Das enriched their knowledge with expert insights. The project aims to apply theoretical to understanding in real-world scenarios, culminating in a Food Fest on November 22, 2024, where Grade 6 students will showcase their creativity and knowledge.

Space Exploration
Objective: To investigate space exploration concepts and foster curiosity about the universe and its mysteries.
Guided by Ms. Amruthaveni and her team, students are in the Tuning In Stage of exploring space. Activities like virtual tours, Y-chart reflections, brainstorming, and Hexagonal Thinking have helped students break down complex ideas. The objective is to nurture their curiosity while enhancing critical thinking and collaborative skills, culminating in innovative reflections on space exploration.
