The house-parents are well acquainted with the knowledge of first-aid, resolving disagreements or conflicts, puberty and adolescence age and emotional well being. In the absence of parents, house-parents play a significant role in the child’s life by being a guide, friend, counsellor and a role model.
The house-parents and mentors of EISB are committed to being there for the students at any time of the day or night. It is their responsibility to ensure that all students are healthy, happy and well cared for. A homely environment is important for a child’s well being and the house-parents completely understands this.
House parents and mentors are also responsible for ensuring that all boarders get supervised and personalised academic support by the skilled staff at EISB. Boarders are supported in all subjects and encouraged to develop a regular study schedule.
