Indian School Certificate Examination (ISC)
The ISC examination is recognised for entry into a Bachelor’s degree in India and abroad. EISB offers students Science, Commerce and Humanities streams of study to pursue their career aspirations. A career counseling team is also available to help students select courses to suit their interests. are offered at EISB. In each of these streams, English is a compulsory subject; students need to choose four additional subjects from the electives provided. SUPW (Socially Useful Productive Work) is a compulsory graded subject.
Students clearing Class X from any board can apply for admission to this course under Council eligibility rules.

Suraj Bajaj has spent a significant part of his life in the US. Having completed his undergraduate dual degree from the University of Pennsylvania, i.e., Bachelor of Science from the Wharton School of Business and Bachelor of Arts from College of Arts and Sciences, and his MBA from Columbia Business School. At EISB, he will bring his years of experience and expertise to guide students to plan their careers and reach new heights in life.
Mr. Christian Mouchbahani, Managing Partner at M Capital Group, is a recognized reference in the world of merchant banking, private equity, investment banking and asset management, having held several senior regional and international positions, and board roles in the US, Europe and the Middle East with institutions like Jefferies, Paribas, BNP Paribas, Morgan, Dubai Bank and TNI. He holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BS in Economics from New York University.
Dr. Mandhana is the first Indian counselor to attend the prestigious Harvard Summer Institute on College Admissions. He is also a proud alumnus of UCLA and the University of Cambridge. The Indian School Certificate Examination, abbreviated as ISC, is conducted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISC) for Class 12.
A candidate is eligible for admissions based on their performance in the Grade X exam. You can apply for ISC irrespective of your Grade X board.
Yes, you can get admission to Class XI of ISC however, you must have passed the Class X Examination from a recognized Examination Board in five written subjects at one and the same sitting of the external examination including English (compulsory subject) and four other written subjects.

As the ISC is a two-year course of study, a change of subject(s) is not permitted after the candidate has registered in Grade XI.
This is a myth related to the ISC syllabus. The syllabus is comprehensive. It aims at providing in-depth information on all topics. Each subject is given equal importance so that students can comprehend every topic minutely. The syllabus is globally accepted and recognised. It focuses not only on theory but also on each student’s practical abilities.
Yes, a student can transfer from one Council affiliated school to another, subject to certain criteria laid down by the Council.
English is a compulsory subject. For each stream, the candidate should select any four subjects from the electives provided. In addition, you will have to compulsorily complete the (SUPW) Socially Useful Productive Work and Community Service course. SUPW is graded internally.
