On a beautiful morning, students of Grade 3 went for a field trip to Eagle Unbound, a lovely farm and adventure land nestled in Bengaluru. The fun began right from the time they boarded their respective buses. The children reached the scenic and quaint place in an hour. The children relished the lovely spread of food they indulged in throughout the day. The guides engrossed the children with a nature walk along with a farm visit to see the various animals. Every child enjoyed adventure activities such as zip line, tug of war and various obstacle courses. The children were thoroughly delighted on the day and took back memories they will cherish for life.

Field trips are always fun and the best way to enhance classroom learning is by making real-world connections. The students of Grade 1 were taken to Kidztopiaa - an indoor play zone that combines inspiration, fun and learning. There were lots of fun-filled games for kids. There were soft play areas that encouraged exploration and increased motor skills. They had role-play areas like a police station, post office, gymnasium, fire station, hospital, library etc., that were a great motivation for the little ones. They were extremely excited to role-play. The children did numerous electric, magnetic, and other science experiments like bending light, colour mixing, colour shadow, frozen shadow, infinity mirror, laser dodge and many more. The students had a wondrous day at Kidztopiaa filled with frolic and adventure.

Our little eco-warriors embarked on a journey to honor the ground beneath our feet - the foundation of life! Its World Soil Day, and our excitement knows no bounds!

In the spirit of this global occasion, our young minds of Nursery actively engaged in an enthralling planting activity. Each child participated in planting a seed in a pot, gaining hands-on insight into the vital role of soil in fostering plant growth. Furthermore, our young learners of Prep1 consciously relished fresh fruits nurtured by the richness of healthy soil. They marvelled at the interconnectedness of nature, appreciating the journey from soil to plate.

But thatโ€™s not all !!! Our ingenious kids of Prep 2, with a twinkle in their eyes, have been busy crafting compost from vegetable peels, unlocking the secrets of sustainable living. Today, as we immersed ourselves in the marvels of World Soil Day, our Early Years stands as a beacon of environmental awareness and respect for our Mother Earth.

Letโ€™s keep spreading the word about how awesome soil is!

As part of our efforts to make learning fun and to provide our students with a hands-on experience, an interesting Field Trip was planned for our students of Grade 5 PYP. Our students visited the Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum. The purpose of our visit was to learn about the various forms and sources of energy, how energy is stored and transformed, and how it is conserved.

Through interactive displays, most of the museums exhibits encourage children to learn different principles of science. The students enjoyed the trip and also gathered information that they could relate to their current unit. It was a memorable experience for the students.

Talent is a gift that needs to be โ€˜unboxedโ€™ to share its radiance with the world. It helps the participants showcase their abilities and motivates other students to come forward and reveal their secret potential. The PYP organized a Talent Show competition EISBs Got Talent - 2023โ€ which was held recently. Students of Grades 1 to 5 enthusiastically participated in this event.

Children showcased their hidden talents beautifully. It was a perfect opportunity for children to explore and present their unique talents. We had around 120 participants who put their heart and soul into preparing for this event. The students spoke confidently, displaying their storytelling and speaking skills, danced gracefully to good music, sang melodiously, showcased their artwork beautifully, and displayed culinary art enthusiastically.

We are immensely proud of all the participants, and weโ€™re grateful to the parents who accompanied their children and supported them throughout the event. The talent show proved to be a wonderful platform for the students to discover their hidden talents.
