On a beautiful morning, students of Grade 3 went for a field trip to Eagle Unbound, a lovely farm and adventure land nestled in Bengaluru. The fun began right from the time they boarded their respective buses. The children reached the scenic and quaint place in an hour. The children relished the lovely spread of food they indulged in throughout the day. The guides engrossed the children with a nature walk along with a farm visit to see the various animals. Every child enjoyed adventure activities such as zip line, tug of war and various obstacle courses. The children were thoroughly delighted on the day and took back memories they will cherish for life.

Field trips are always fun and the best way to enhance classroom learning is by making real-world connections. The students of Grade 1 were taken to Kidztopiaa - an indoor play zone that combines inspiration, fun and learning. There were lots of fun-filled games for kids. There were soft play areas that encouraged exploration and increased motor skills. They had role-play areas like a police station, post office, gymnasium, fire station, hospital, library etc., that were a great motivation for the little ones. They were extremely excited to role-play. The children did numerous electric, magnetic, and other science experiments like bending light, colour mixing, colour shadow, frozen shadow, infinity mirror, laser dodge and many more. The students had a wondrous day at Kidztopiaa filled with frolic and adventure.

Furthermore, our young learners of Prep1 consciously relished fresh fruits nurtured by the richness of healthy soil. As part of our efforts to make learning fun and to provide our students with a 'hands-on' experience, an interesting 'Field Trip' was planned for our students of Grade 5 PYP. Our students visited the Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum. The purpose of our visit was to learn about the various forms and sources of energy, how energy is stored and transformed, and how it is conserved.
Through interactive displays, most of the museum's exhibits encourage children to learn different principles of science. The students enjoyed the trip and also gathered information that they could relate to their current unit. It was a memorable experience for the students.

Talent is a gift that needs to be ‘unboxed’ to share its radiance with the world. It helps the participants showcase their abilities and motivates other students to come forward and reveal their secret potential. The PYP organized a Talent Show competition 'EISB's Got Talent - 2023” which was held recently. Students of Grades 1 to 5 enthusiastically participated in this event.
Children showcased their hidden talents beautifully. It was a perfect opportunity for children to explore and present their unique talents. We had around 120 participants who put their heart and soul into preparing for this event. The students spoke confidently, displaying their storytelling and speaking skills, danced gracefully to good music, sang melodiously, showcased their artwork beautifully, and displayed culinary art enthusiastically.
We are immensely proud of all the participants, and we’re grateful to the parents who accompanied their children and supported them throughout the event. The talent show proved to be a wonderful platform for the students to discover their hidden talents.

Annual Sports Day, was a resounding success, filled with energy, enthusiasm, and a spirit of camaraderie. Blessed with lovely weather, the event showcased the exceptional initiative and execution skills of our sports team.
Students across all houses demonstrated immense vigour and team spirit, bringing the grounds alive with their zestful participation. The event was a true testament to their dedication, with numerous races reaching their exciting finals. The inclusion of relay races, parents' races, and the ever-popular tug-o-war added a unique flavour to the festivities, amplifying the excitement.
It was heartening to witness the robust support from both students and teachers for their respective houses, creating an atmosphere of friendly yet spirited competition. The two days were filled with cheer and encouragement, making them truly enjoyable for everyone involved.

Wing Commander C S Bhanuprakash, Command Education Officer, visited our school and addressed our students, shedding light on the armed forces. The Indian Air Force's motto, "Touch the Sky with Glory," set the tone for the session, which began with an overview of historical Indian Air Force aircraft. Wing Commander Bhanuprakash emphasized the IAF's primary mission of safeguarding Indian airspace and its role in aerial warfare during armed conflicts.
The session featured an engaging Q & A session with active student participation. Students learned that the President of India holds the rank of Supreme Commander of the IAF and about the prestigious rank of Marshal of the Air Force, conferred by the President of India. The discussion also touched on the early Air Force units, World War II, and the initial years of Indian Independence. Special recognition was given to the dedication of airmen during the Kargil War of 1999.
He provided detailed information on career options within the Air Force, including technical and non-technical branches for officers. He highlighted the diverse aircraft used by the Indian Air Force, such as Fighter Planes, Transport/Cargo planes, Helicopters, Trainer Aircraft, and UAVs. Visuals showcased active combat aircraft like the F-16 Fighting Falcon, Mikoyan MiG-29, MiG-21, HAL Tejas, Mirage 2000, Sukhoi Su-30 MKI, Dassault Rafale, SEPECAT Jaguar, Boeing 737, and BAE Hawk fighter planes.
Students had the unique opportunity to witness a flight simulator, a device that recreates aircraft flight and its environment for training, design, and research purposes. It simulates aircraft behavior, response to flight controls, and external factors like air conditions, turbulence, and more.

The launch was characterized by engaging discussions on law-related topics, during which our students interviewed participants, posing questions about their experience in this event. Grade 3 ICSE turned their artistic attention to the world of clay modelling under the guidance of Ms Ramyashree.R who is a visual artist, specialised in sculpture making and realistic human figures. Ramyashree comes from a traditional pottery background and is currently working on combining both terracotta figures and human study by bringing a realistic approach. The children created an array of etched figurines of interesting subjects. The workshop was a combination of enthusiasm and creativity at its best.

EISB hosted a mini University Fair. We had a select group of around 20 Universities that participated in the Fair. Some very well known Universities from India like Krea, Flame, ShivNadar, Indian School of Hospitality, Alliance University, Manipal University and Vidyashilp University also participated in the Fair.
A few Universities from Europe and USA like University of Auckland, St.George University Grenada, Catholica University, George Mason, Drake University, University of Wisconsin Stout, Colorado State, University of Mississippi, Boise State University, University of Nottingham also participated in the Fair. Primus Public School students participated in the Fair along with students from EISB. There was a lot of information sharing and there was something for each student.

The Inter-house basketball tournament for grade 7 and 8, boys and girls, were held.
The tournament witnessed a lot of close contests with each team jumping and leaping to score baskets. It was a closely fought competition wherein each house put its best foot forward. Lay-ups were met with intense blocks as the players sweated it out on the courts.
ABRAHAM LINCOLN House won the competition for girls in grades 7 and 8, followed by MOTHER TERESA House in second place and NELSON MANDELA House in third.
JAWAHARLAL NEHRU House won the competition for boys in grades 7 and 8, followed by NELSON MANDELA House in second place and ABRAHAM LINCOLN House in third.
